Tucked away at Igniv Zürich By Andreas Caminada, this elegant fine dining spot brings a fresh and social approach to upscale eating in the heart of Zürich. From the moment you step inside, the restaurant feels warm, stylish, and surprisingly relaxed for a high-end venue. The interior blends modern Swiss sophistication with cozy touches, creating a space where guests can settle in comfortably while enjoying a carefully curated culinary experience. Whether you choose a table indoors or prefer the charming outdoor seating area, the atmosphere feels polished without becoming overly formal.
One of the most interesting things about Igniv Zürich By Andreas Caminada is its sharing concept. Instead of traditional multi-course dining where every plate belongs to one person, dishes are designed to be shared around the table. This creates a more interactive and lively experience, making the meal feel social and memorable. Every plate arrives beautifully presented, yet the focus remains on flavor, balance, and seasonal ingredients rather than unnecessary extravagance. The menu changes regularly, which keeps every visit exciting for returning guests.
The beverage selection also deserves attention. Guests can enjoy an impressive range of wine, cocktails, beer, and premium spirits that pair naturally with the restaurant’s refined menu. Coffee service is equally polished, while late-night dining options make the place appealing for extended evenings in Zürich’s old town district. The staff maintain a professional but approachable attitude, helping diners feel comfortable even during a luxurious meal.
Another detail that stands out is how smoothly the dining experience flows from beginning to end. Service feels attentive without hovering, and every course arrives with thoughtful timing. Since the restaurant focuses exclusively on dine-in service, the attention remains fully centered on creating a complete in-house experience. For travelers exploring Zürich or locals searching for an elevated night out, Igniv Zürich By Andreas Caminada delivers an atmosphere that feels both exclusive and welcoming at the same time.

Wow, just wow. Perhaps one of the best fine dining experiences I’ve ever tasted. Everything was incredible: the service was so well done and pleasant, the drinks were presented in a really in depth way and the food was out of this world. The appetizers surprised us from the start: each one was better and better than the last. They also offered to swap some of the dishes or offer us more of those that we particularly enjoyed.. The drinks were really good on their own but clearly well paired with the dishes too, which sometimes a few places get wrong. One of the greatest dining experiences in our lives, worth every penny.
We had an amazing birthday dinner of my best friend together with his lovely wife and one of their sons. Service is the absolute best service I've ever experienced in Zurich, in Switzerland and to be honest: in the world. The chef also came when we were on the way to go, really nice, 37 years old, from Austria. Top restaurant. One of the very best in Switzerland and Europe. Thank you so much for the great experience and that really super outstanding Service!
Just superb! This is my second visit to Igniv, and the sharingnplatter concept remains a hit! They’ve refreshed the interior. We were here for an impromptu “business lunch” as a party of three. The food was sublimely inventive, beautifully presented, with an amazing choice of crockery, and excellent service. I love this restaurant and will go again. The food is exceptional and the wine pairings are so well-considered. If you’re in Zurich and have the wherewithal to afford a 2 star Michelin restaurant, this is a winner!
